The four houses of Evara, and what each is for

AABHAR, VIVAÉ, EVARA PRIVÉ and EVERYDAY EVARA are not four names for the same thing. Here is how they differ.

Four collections, and the difference between them is less about price than about occasion — how often a piece is meant to be worn, and how much room it needs.

AABHAR

The ceremonial end of the catalogue. Necklace sets, statement earrings and rings built to hold their own against heavy fabric and strong light. These are pieces for the evenings people photograph.

VIVAÉ

The largest of the four, and the most varied. Modern proportions, cleaner lines, and a great many pieces that move comfortably between an office and a dinner. If you are buying your first Evara piece, this is usually where it comes from.

EVARA PRIVÉ

Smaller, quieter, more deliberate. Fewer stones, more attention to the setting itself. These are the pieces that reward being looked at closely rather than from across a room.

EVERYDAY EVARA

Built for repetition. Lighter weights, secure closures, finishes chosen because they survive being put on every morning without thought. Nothing here asks to be saved for later.

Choosing between them

The honest test is how often you will reach for it. A piece worn twice a year and a piece worn twice a week are different objects, and the collections are arranged around that rather than around anything more romantic.
